The Plough Inn is a Frederic Robinsons Brewery pub and is located in an area of Cheshire that was central in the early history of the county.  The Plough is first mentioned as an inn in 1869 and was a beer house before that.

Recommended Caravan Site Lamb cottage is a short walk from the Plough, Just enough to build a good appetite.

This part of Cheshire is also popular with walkers and cyclists and there are several nearby camping and caravan sites. The Plough gets a mention in "Pub Walks in Cheshire" written by Jen Darling and is described as a "real gem of a pub" on the Hidden Inns web site
